1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of the free online service Barcode Studio.

2. Service

Barcode Studio provides tools to create barcodes and QR codes. The service is offered free of charge and without any guarantee of continuous availability.

3. Use

Use is at your own responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring that the codes you generate and their contents are lawful and do not infringe third-party rights.

4. Generated codes and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the data you enter and for the correctness of the generated barcodes and QR codes (e.g. article numbers, IBAN, URLs, Wi-Fi credentials). We accept no liability for incorrect, unscannable or unsuitable codes. Please check every code carefully before productive use — especially before printing in large quantities.

5. Warranty and liability

The service is provided free of charge and "as is" without any warranty; use is at your own risk. Liability for the correctness or scannability of generated codes or for damages arising from use is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for intent and gross negligence, for breach of essential contractual obligations and under product liability law remains unaffected.

6. Advertising and cookies

The service is financed through advertising. We display third-party ads (e.g. Google AdSense); the respective provider is responsible for their content. Cookies may be used to operate the service and for advertising. Details can be found in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. Optional cookies are only set with your consent.

7. Usage rights and commercial use

You may use the generated barcodes and QR codes freely and without licence fees — expressly including for commercial purposes (e.g. products, packaging, labels, marketing). The rights to the application itself remain with the operator.

8. Changes

We reserve the right to change the service and these terms at any time.

9. Applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
