2. General & hosting

This website is operated via a hosting provider. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure provision).

3. Server log files

The provider automatically collects information in server log files (e.g. browser type, operating system, date/time, page accessed, shortened IP address). This data is used for technical security and is not merged with other data.

4. Barcode generation

The values you enter are sent to our server to generate the barcode. These inputs are not permanently stored for advertising purposes. An optional history, your settings and saved presets (labels & barcode favorites) are linked via an anonymous, randomly generated device ID. When you export a preset via “Share” as a link, the respective configuration (barcode type, value and appearance options) is encoded directly in the link — no personal data is transmitted or stored in the process. To improve the service and for internal metrics in our admin area, we also evaluate aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (e.g. the number/type of codes generated) — without additional cookies (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

5. Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies (e.g. for your settings and an anonymous device ID) and – with your consent – advertising cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings. Legal basis: § 25 TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

6. Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. AdSense uses cookies to deliver and measure ads; your (shortened) IP address may be processed. Integration only takes place with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). 7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them, an email to Kontakt.barcode.studio@gmail.com is sufficient.
