This cookie policy explains how Barcode Studio uses cookies and similar technologies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use local storage (localStorage) for settings.

Categories

Strictly necessary

Store your settings (e.g. language, theme, barcode options) and an anonymous device ID that links your history and saved presets (labels & barcode favorites). Permitted without consent (§ 25 (2) TDDDG).

Analytics / statistics

After you consent to the "analytics" category, we set analytics cookies from our product-analytics tools PostHog and Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to measure usage anonymously and improve the app. For Google Analytics, IP anonymization is enabled; data may be transferred to the USA. Without your consent, neither analytics cookies are set nor the corresponding scripts loaded. In addition, we evaluate aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (e.g. the number and type of generated codes) for internal metrics in our admin area — no cookies are set for this (legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Marketing (Google AdSense)

Only set after your consent; used to deliver and measure advertising.

Managing cookies

You can adjust or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings in the app. You can also delete cookies in your browser.
